Best Eastside Nannies needed for wonderful family in Hancock Park
Posted : 05/28/25
This is a fantastic family! We know firsthand — we helped them hire their assistant, who is still happily working with them. It’s a happy home, and they are looking for positive and experienced nannies to join their team!
Dad works full-time and stays involved with the kids, especially during dinner and evenings when he’s home. Mom is a lovely, hands-on stay-at-home mom looking for TWO exceptional nannies to partner with her in raising two adorable children: a 3-year-old son (starting preschool in the fall) and a 1-year-old daughter who is mostly home.
The children attend classes like music and art, and the family loves swimming in their pool. They’re hiring two nannies to cover different shifts and ensure seamless care and support.
Schedule to Responsibilities:
Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Hands-on childcare
• Prepare family breakfast and dinner (nutritious, not gourmet—assistant can help with recipes)
• Engage in developmental activities and outings
• Light housekeeping and children’s laundry while the older child is at school
Shift 2: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Afternoon care and activities
• Support Mom with nap time routines and playtime
• Warm up prep dinner, assist with bedtime routines
Both nannies will work closely with Mom and each other, fostering a collaborative environment focused on child development and smooth household operations. Experience working on a team and with hands-on parents is a must.
Additional Details:
• Driving is essential: Mom doesn’t drive, so both nannies must be comfortable driving her and the children. Clean driving record required.
• Occasional travel (domestic and international – get your passport ready!)
• Some evening and weekend overtime when parents have events
• You’ll collaborate with a full support team: personal assistant house manager, housekeeper, another nanny, and an assistant.
• This is a peaceful but fast-paced and organized household. Team players only 🙂
• Family pays on the books and offers excellent health insurance.
We’re looking for TWO creative, organized self-starters with a strong background in early childhood development. Ideal candidates are warm, patient, great communicators, and enthusiastic about being part of a loving team.
Requirements:
• Proven nanny experience (at least 2plus long term recent nanny jobs in LA with excellent references)
• Strong knowledge of child development across age groups
• Creative and engaging with children
• Multitasking and time management skills
• Pleasant, patient, and proactive personality
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling and occasional travel
• Valid driver’s license and clean record
• Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
• High school diploma; ECE training a plus
• First Aid CPR certified
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Tdap
• Secondary language a plus
Duties:
• Drive to from appointments, classes, outings
• Age-appropriate activities and enrichment
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Children’s laundry and dishes
• Pack for trips
• Collaborate with Mom, other nanny, and house manager on scheduling and logistics
• Help maintain household organization and flow
