About the Role:
We are looking for an exceptional private chef to join dynamic households, providing bespoke culinary services for two managing partners and their families. You will be entrusted with crafting delicious and nutritious meals, creating personalized dining experiences. This position requires a sophisticated understanding of the culinary arts, excellent communication, and an adaptable approach to family dynamics.

You’ll be working in a shared capacity, preparing lunch at the office (West LA) 3-4 days per week and preparing dinner 4 nights a week for each managing partner’s family at their homes, which are located on the same street in Brentwood. (Two nights for one partner, and two nights for the other partner.)

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Meal Preparation:
• Lunch for the managing partners at their office 3-4 days per week, ensuring balanced, healthy meals that are flavorful and aligned with dietary needs.
• Dinner for each family (2 nights at one partner’s and 2 nights at the others), including both nutritious and indulgent options, focusing on Mediterranean, Persian, and Asian cuisines.
• Prepare healthy, high-protein snacks, crudités, and grab-and-go options for both families. The partners are both married with three children.
• Adapt meals to specific preferences such as Persian and Mediterranean flavors, health-conscious options
• Plan meals ahead of time, considering dietary restrictions (no particular allergies but an emphasis on healthy eating).
• Prepare meals for family flights (jet meals) with an eye for both taste and convenience.

Additional Duties:
• Maintain a proactive relationship with the families, anticipating needs and ensuring that every meal aligns with their tastes and preferences.
• Occasionally work with other household staff (housekeepers, assistants) to ensure the kitchen is organized, clean, and stocked with top-quality ingredients.

Personal Qualities:
• You should have the flexibility to pivot from a health-focused meal plan to a more indulgent comfort food experience when necessary.
• Working in a high-net-worth environment, you’ll need to be trusted to maintain confidentiality and be respectful of family dynamics.
• The wives are particular and have high expectations, so being detail-oriented and proactive in meeting their needs is essential.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, anticipate needs, and stay ahead of meal prep and schedules is key.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a private chef, ideally for 3-5 years and experience with a dynamic schedule
• Expertise in Mediterranean, Persian, and Asian cuisine (especially Japanese) with a deep understanding of nutrition and dietary preferences.
• Strong cooking and presentation skills.
• Experience in catering for families who fly frequently and need meals prepared for travel.
• Ability to work with high-level household staff, including drivers, assistants, and housekeepers.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled polished valet butler aide de camp. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily food and beverage needs of our principals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including service. Responsibilities:
Personal Support:
Manage FtoB by regularly assessing and maintaining inventory levels of the pantry and fridges, keeping track of expiration dates and food quality.
Prepare light foods daily.
Assist with wardrobe purchases, returns, alterations and maintenance.
Coordinate with vendors, such as the in-house florist, for house beautification, including plants to orchids.

Travel:
Accompany the principals during their domestic and international travels, providing personal assistance to the family and guests including packing and unpacking.
Assist with reservations, coordinate activities, assist with appointments on the ground, and handle travel-related errands.
Ensure all travel-related documents and necessities, including passports and currency, are in order. Coordinate with hotels for all guest folios upon departure.
Conduct advance research for new destinations and stay updated on what’s new and happening at frequently visited destinations.

Hosting, Entertaining, and Party Planning:
Provide floor service, including table service.
Plan, coordinate, and execute events, gatherings, and dinners within the household.
Oversee event planning, including guest invitations, menu selection, decorations, and entertainment arrangements.
Collaborate with external service providers, such as caterers, vendors, and contractors, to ensure smooth operations before, during, and after an event.

Hosting Guests in Residence:
Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests visiting the residence.
Manage guest room preparation, arrange personalized amenities, and anticipate any special requirements or preferences.

Security and Confidentiality:
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times to protect the privacy and security of the principals and their guests.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar position within a high-end, private household or luxury hospitality environment. Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the
principals’ schedule. Typical work schedule will be Sunday – Thursday unless you are traveling with the principals.
Excellent knowledge of etiquette, table service, and household practices.
Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and effective time management.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and respectfully. Discretion, professionalism, and respect for privacy.
Ability to anticipate needs, proactively solve problems, and provide discreet and personalized service. Capability to work collaboratively as part of an established team.
Physical ability to perform household tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, assisting with travel luggage, and setting up events.
Valid driver’s license and passport, as well as willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

This is a GREAT full time position with a lovely and loyal family.  The ideal candidate is FLEXIBLE, LOVES DOGS, likes to work on a staaff. The schedule is a bit whacky because you will spend the night a couple times to help with the dogs!

Duties:  Laundry, is the most important duty although most of the fine linens and sheets are sent out
Schedule:  
• Monday to Tuesday, 9am-5:30pm
• Wednesday, start at 3:30pm and spend the night and leave Thursday at noon
• Thursday, off
• Friday, 3:30pm and spend the night and leave at 9am Saturday 
• Saturday and Sunday, off

Staff:  There is another full time housekeeper, a full time nanny and a full time chef.  This is a well staff home that requires teamwork!
