Mothers Helper Nanny for Brentwood Family and their first baby
Posted : 05/16/25
Brentwood family is looking for a kind, reliable, and collaborative Mother’s Helper Nanny to join their home long-term! Their daughter is almost one year old, curious and joyful, and the family also has a sweet goldendoodle. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and very involved, while Dad works from home — so this role is not full-charge. Instead, they’re looking for someone who thrives in a team-based, supportive environment where you’ll work closely with Mom and be flexible in your role depending on the needs of the day. They do plan to have another baby in the future, so the role will evolve as the family grows, but the Mom is very much looking for a partner to help her.
The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with occasional evening date nights or weekend help (not required, but a bonus if available.)
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Providing loving, attentive care for the baby (playtime, walks, story time, classes)
• Taking the baby to local parks and baby classes (must have a safe, reliable car)
• Keeping the living spaces and kitchen tidy — dishes, loading unloading dishwasher, cleaning up after meals and play, light organization
• Running light errands: groceries, dry cleaning, returns, etc.
• Preparing simple, healthy, organic meals for the baby (roasted veggies, basic proteins, following simple recipes) and family as needed
• Walking and spending time with the family’s friendly goldendoodle
• Occasional travel (family vacations, often to Hawaii)
• Swimming with the baby (must be able to swim for safety, but need not be a strong swimmer)
Requirements:
• 5plus years of professional nanny experience with infants and toddlers
• Strong communication and a team-player attitude
• Comfortable with a parent who is present and actively involved
• Valid driver’s license and reliable car
• Must be able to swim confidently for safety purposes (pool and water activities)
• Must be dog-friendly
• Valid U.S. Passport and open to occasional travel
• Looking for someone who wants a long-term position with a great family
Compensation:
• $40–$45 hour, depending on experience
• PTO and health insurance stipend included
If you’re a nurturing, flexible, experienced caregiver who enjoys working closely with parents and supporting a household in a meaningful way, this is a truly special opportunity to become part of a loving, respectful, and relaxed home environment. We will also consider housekeepers who have experience helping with young children! We’d love to hear from you!
