We have had the pleasure of helping this incredible woman for many years, and her family. She had a traumatic brain injury many years ago, and while she is able to enjoy her life, and she does, she does need 24 7 care to help her with daily activities. She’s now in her 40s, but has the spirit and energy of a teenager.

Our client is full of humor, fun, spunk, determination! She does PT, loves pilates, acting class, games, movies, reading, and having her friends over. You will help drive her to doctor appointments and while you are there to help her, you also become her friend and confident. So it’s all about learning how to navigate all of those roles.

We are looking for a special person who can do either one 24 shift, or two 24 shifts, and join a special team. This could be a wonderful job for someone that has worked as a nurse, physical therapist, a nanny, a warm hearted personal assistant, etc. This is a very specific role, and we are looking for the right fit.

The 24 hour work period is 8am to 8am the next day, the daily rate is $678.57 per 24 hours, inclusive of overtime. You are ON for all 24 hours that you work. There is a 2nd bedroom in the condo for you to sleep, but you are on call if she needs help during the night to go to the bathroom, etc.

As you will be learning her specific routines, we are looking for someone who can make a long term commitment. Please have excellent references, a safe and dependable four door car, a clear background check and most importantly, a huge heart and a great sense of humor.

Couple in the Palisades seek FT flexible Chef. Chef is paid a full-time salary and will not be expected to travel regularly (and the Couple is away a lot), so there’s a good deal of PTO built into the position. When they are in residence, Chef is on call to cook L to D seven days a week. They go out to eat often, so there will be off days, but the days Chef will be off may change from week to week. Guests come by often, but large parties are infrequent. Chef cooks a staff meal (for app. 4-5) as well. We are looking for a seasoned Private Chef (minimum 5 years experience in an estate setting) who can roll with late adds and unique requests and can be completely flexible in service to the Principals. Reminder — you are paid fully when they travel which may be for weeks at a time so the flexibility you provide when the Principals are in town is given back to you in equal measure.
