One of our favorite families is looking for a reliable, fun, and responsible helper every Tuesday and Thursday!

The role involves picking up an adorable 8-year-old boy from school in Santa Monica, driving him to a gym in Culver City, and then bringing him back to Santa Monica.

• Schedule: Tuesdays to Thursdays, 3:00–6:00 pm
• Mileage is reimbursed.

This is a perfect fit for a nanny who already has a morning position and wants to add a few consistent afternoon hours. A clean driving record and comfort navigating Westside traffic are a must!

Manhattan beach family needs help after surgery

Sweetest mom is having surgery in January. Her kids are 13 and 15, so they are self sufficient! They need a mom in the house that is hands on that will help cook, clean, do errands, drive the kids, help with laundry and anything else that is needed. Mom can not lift anything for a month at least! They have a dog so you might be walking the dog, or even help cleaning. Mom is pretty organized and a good communicator – so things are very clear! This warm household includes a working dad, a stay-at-home mom, and two exceptionally bright little boys — a curious 3-year-old and an engaging 8-month-old. They are looking for a stable, smart, loving nanny who can help keep their boys stimulated, engaged, and growing.

Because both parents are originally from the East Coast and don’t have family nearby, they are hoping to find a true partner — someone who can step in as a steady, competent set of extra hands. Dad’s work schedule is demanding, and Mom is very much looking for a co-pilot who can help her navigate the days with confidence, warmth, and great instincts.

The family has a weekly cleaning service, but light household support (kids’ laundry, tidying, simple meal prep) would be deeply appreciated. They are still finalizing the exact schedule, but are considering either: • Three long days toward the end of the week plus perhaps one shorter weekend day, or • A part-time schedule that works for both Nanny and Mom — TBD

They would love to find someone open to traveling with the family, likely twice per year, and someone comfortable with occasional overnights if Mom and Dad travel without the children. Whenever possible, the family would like the nanny to take her PTO during times when they are traveling.

The ideal candidate is:
 • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Experienced with strong longevity in previous roles and experience with infants to school-aged children • Warm, engaging, and highly reliable • Comfortable driving and ideally located near Palos Verdes • Flexible, proactive, and excited to become part of a loving, dynamic household • Equipped with stellar references

Compensation: $35–$40 hour (pending payroll vs. off-the-books confirmation) plus PTO.

The family follows a gluten-free, healthy diet due to the father’s celiac disease, and they are seeking a reliable, skilled chef for a hybrid cooking role once a week.

The chef will cook and serve a fresh meal in the home, and will also prepare additional meals for the week that the family can easily enjoy later. This is a hands-on cooking day rather than a pure drop-off role.

To start, the family would like to commit to one month. It’s very likely they will continue afterward, but for now, the initial agreement will cover the first month so everyone can make sure the rhythm and fit feel just right.
