We are seeking a warm, mature, and experienced caregiver or housekeeper to support a vibrant and independent 90-year-old woman who resides in a beautiful condo in Century City. She is in excellent health, mentally sharp, and fully capable of caring for herself—but has recently stopped driving and would love some light support a few times a week.

Schedule:

• 2–3 times per week
• 2–3 hours per shift
(Flexible days and times based on availability — perfect for someone with a later-starting full-time job in Bel Air or Beverly Hills.)

Duties Include:

• Driving to and from appointments, errands, gym, or the market
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Occasional light cooking or meal prep
• General companionship and conversation
• Miscellaneous household or personal errands

We are helping a truly lovely couple in Hermosa Beach find a compassionate and creative part-time chef to support them during a challenging time. The wife is currently undergoing cancer treatment and needs nourishing, gentle meals prepared with care — ideally by someone who is local, familiar with South Bay’s best farmers markets and shops, and passionate about cooking with fresh, seasonal, organic ingredients.

This is a drop-off-based position with potential for light in-person cooking once or twice a month. The couple has a fully stocked kitchen and is ready to start working with someone as soon as the right fit is found.

What They’re Looking For:

• 3 main meals per week: soups, stews, braises, casseroles, or simple protein-forward dishes with soft, well-cooked vegetables
• Snack prep: muffins, quick breads, smoothies, protein shakes, pancakes
• Gentle, healing meals prepared off-site and delivered in clean, reusable containers
• Occasional Sunday night dinners cooked at their home — especially light fish meals like salmon, halibut, or sole

Dietary Notes:

• No garlic, onions, chilis, peppers, eggplant, or avocado oil
• She is allergic to wheat and eggs
• He is not allergic and may eat a broader range
• Vegetables need to be soft or puréed due to a current soft-diet requirement
• Protein intake is a priority
• Nut butters are okay; no whole nuts
• They love goat cheese, dairy is fine, and they can share their favorite vendors
• Open to tofu scrambles, smoothies, and other creative soft high-protein meals
• They enjoy fish, red meat, poultry, pork, and hearty one-pot meals

It will be part errands, vendor management, travel planning, gifts, grocery shopping and part picking up the elementary school aged girls from school and helping with the afterschool routine.

We are looking, ideally, for a college educated nanny family assistant who has taken on house management in recent roles. You have amazing references, a can do attitude, kindness, warmth, and the ability to keep up with a faster paced family.

Temporary Nanny to cover for Maternity Leave for wonderful family in Studio City

This wonderful family hired their beloved nanny from The Help Company a couple years ago. They adore her! While she takes off time for maternity leave, they would love to find a great temp nanny to cover from July 7th, 2025 through January 1st, 2026. Then the temp job will end, only when the permanent nanny comes back to work 🙂

This is one of our kindest and most respectful clients! Both Mom and Dad are Doctors, so they are busy taking care of patients, and in surgery for most of the day. They need a smart, humble, kind, organized and safe drive to help shuttle their children around.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, usually 12pm-8pm. They have a little dog they like a little help with, and do not need you to travel. The most important parts of the job are grocery shopping, cooking a nutritious but not gourmet dinner for the children, safely driving them around to afterschool activities, and acting as a third parent who can help keep the schedule organized, go to doctor appointments and generally be a lovely representative for the family. The youngest goes to school in Pasadena, so a pick up in the family Minivan is needed in the afternoon and some driving to activities. The middle teen is in school in Studio City, so you’ll do some bus pick ups and shuttling to activities. The oldest drives now, and mostly does their own thing but you’ll still help with their dinner.

The family is offering $40 an hour, DOE and they do have a NANNY CAR, so no wear on your own car!

Please comfortable driving a Minivan, have your updated vaccines, a great positive attitude, enjoy working on a team (the family has a housekeeper and Personal Assistant also there daily,) and excellent references. You will also need to pass a background check, and have a clear driving record. We would love to see that you have a college degree from an excellent University as this family is very academically motivated, but it’s not a deal breaker. We would love to know that you are great at keep busy families on task, and can make sure homework gets done, the sports bags are packed, and the children are fed!

Day-to-day tasks include grocery shopping, keeping the house stocked, moving projects along, and keeping an eye on the overall maintenance of the house.
