Our client needs another set of hands – whether for the morning shift or the afternoon!
Our very busy client with three children is looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive Family Assistant to join their household. The position is part-time with one of two possible schedules: Either:

Morning Shift (6:00 AM – 11:00 AM):
Help get two of the three children off to school, prepare a healthy breakfast, and provide loving care for the baby while the parents and nanny are taking the kids to school. Help tidy up, help organize, and clean up the kitchen after breakfast.

Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM – 8:00 PM):
this shift is more focused on childcare, including school pick-ups, driving to activities, and supporting after-school routines. This shift would require an educational background (Montessori, RIE, or similar approaches) t

Compensation: $40 hour, on the books

A wonderful family in Sherman Oaks is looking for a long-term, organized, and detail-oriented Housekeeper Family Assistant to join their household. They’ve recently moved into their 7,500 sq. ft. home with a guest house and would love to find someone who can clean and hlep organize the house!
About the Family
Both parents work from home (mom is home more than dad)
Longtime nanny (10 years) helps with childcare, so this role is more focused on the home and family support
One 40-lb Bernadoodle – must be a dog lover (dog sitting and walks are a plus!)
They value a calm, quiet home environment in the mornings and love organization

Responsibilities
General housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining household organization (they love things neat and tidy!)
Occasional ironing of sheets (wish list, not a requirement)n but a dream!!
Errands and vendor management (familiarity with household vendors is a plus)
Cooking support: light meal prep for kids, simple cooking, or assisting with dinner part

Helping set serve for entertaining is a bonus, but not necessary

What they need most is someone steady and kind, fun kind and solid! Someone who can bring some calm to the house, cook a healthy dinner and make sure they get their homework done!
Schedule looks like this:
Weekdays, 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM

School pick-up for the little girl and spend time with both kids in the evenings

Cook family dinners about 4 nights a week (nothing fancy, just healthy, good meals)

Light evening household support as needed

Compensation

this adorable family wants to make arrangements for their son to be taken care of while she delivers the new baby.
this 3 year old little boy is joyous and sweet and has no agenda, so you will have a great 48 hours with him!!
He loves everyone – he makes friends immediately!
The family does not have family here and he may be a bit shy at the beginning.
They are looking for a great transition for him that will make him feel as good as he can!
He does have a tiny speech delay (we have a therapist) but he is speaking in sentences now – so patience is important.
He is in preschool, but will probably be with you for those 2 days while mom is in the hospital.
They want someone really fun and attentive. He will eat with anyone! Loves food so you can be as imaginative as you like.
He Loves tv – loves tricycles – loves dinosaurs – he is in to Jurassic park and Mickey Mouse!
He is also playing soccer at the school .
Can you commit to 2 to 3 days between Sept 14th and the 22nd? They would want you to come over for a couple babysitting moments before that to get to know him!

Hours:
Monday – Friday 12:30-8:30

Average: 50 hours per week plus three hours on Saturday when owners are in residence. Willing to stay late as needed.

Job responsibilities:
– Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures

– Washing windows
– Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs

– Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
– Light cooking meals for the family
– Contact appropriate maintenance services for preventive maintenance and service on house

– Scheduling home maintenance and repair work, and supervising the project
– Care of clothing
– Care of fine china, silver, crystal
– Care of inventory of artwork and antiques
– Maintenance of automobiles (Gas, car wash)
– Greet incoming guests and visitors and direct them to the appropriate party or communicate delay in a professional manner.
– Answer phones in a professional manner
– Open and distribute incoming mail on a daily basis according to appropriate procedures, as well
as distribute incoming facsimile document Monitor house supply inventory and order additional
supplies as needed.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.
Pet Caretaker Duties
– Feed, water, nurture, and care for pets for (3) owner’s dogs
– Take animal out for regular exercise.
– Give rewards and treats for good behavior.
– Ensure animal has plenty of space to eliminate.
– Administer medications as needed
– Feed and give water to pets
– Lift and move pets as needed
– Keep records of feeding, exercise, and medication schedule.
– Clean and disinfect pens and cages.
– Take pets to veterinarians for treatments
– Clean out pets’ ears and check for mites and fleas.
– Remove ticks and fleas and apply medication.
– Serve as a point of contact for emergencies and urgent queries
– Serve as a liaison with owner’s executive assistant to coordinate logistics of house maintenance
and appointments
