Helping a super fun Brooklyn family of 5 find their unicorn

We are helping an awesome family in Brooklyn find an amazing housekeeper who can cook healthy meals for their 3 kids, 3 times a week, clean their townhome (there’s an elevator and multiple washer dryers!) and handle vendors whenever it’s needed. They are looking for someone who is proactive – if you see a bug or a leak or something that needs to be repaired, let the Mr know right away and make the appointment for him. There are 2 nannies and a grandmother who is over everyday, a personal assistant and mom and dad. This is a fun and busy home!! Lots of laughing here but also working hard! You will be cleaning the home daily, laundry daily, dishes, trash, etc. They are super generous, they cover your health insurance 100% and partial coverage for your dependents, 2 weeks vacation and standard sick time off. The family travels a lot, so during this time, you will do deep cleaning and attend to any maintenance projects the townhome needs. We are helping a wonderful, active couple in their 80s find a temporary caregiver for the summer. The role will be primarily for the Mr, as the Mrs is pretty self-sufficient. The hours are M-F, 10-6pm with some flexibility if one of them has a doctors appt or they are traveling and need assistance getting to their destination. The position will be out of their apartment on the UWS. The Mr loves to tell stories and chat with everyone! It would be great if you love to listen to stories and engage with the client. He also has diabetes, so knowledge of this would be great. Sometimes he might ask you for a cookie or sweets, so someone who can handle saying no in a kind way is perfect for this role! You should also be great at encouraging him to get out and bed and get moving, going on a walk, cooking them light meals, accompanying to doctors appts and keeping an eye on his blood sugar. First time parents looking for their dream, flexible nanny for their adorable 3 month old – AUGUST START

We are helping amazing, first time parents find their dream nanny who is super flexible, as every week is going to be different and your hours will change week to week. Dad is in entertainment, so sometimes you and mom will go away with him for a few days, but primarily your days will be at their apartment in Tribeca. They have had an NCS for the first 3 months, but you will be their first nanny, and mom is at home with baby so a collaborative partnership is very important here! Great to bring ideas to the table, but also know when to give mom some space and find other ways to be helpful – run errands, grocery store, walk the dog, etc. You will be in charge of all things baby – laundry, sanitizing toys, bottles, keeping the room tidy. The family has a home in the Hamptons, so there will be some travel there during the week. Swimming is a must, as you will be in the pool with the baby. A few bonuses, but not deal breakers – Spanish speaking and knowing how to drive would be great!

This job begins in August, but they have several weekends coming up that their NCS will be off for, so this is a chance to work with them before the start date! Health insurance stipend and competitive salary will be offered.
