First time parents looking for their dream, flexible nanny for their adorable 3 month old – AUGUST START

We are helping amazing, first time parents find their dream nanny who is super flexible, as every week is going to be different and your hours will change week to week. Dad is in entertainment, so sometimes you and mom will go away with him for a few days, but primarily your days will be at their apartment in Tribeca. They have had an NCS for the first 3 months, but you will be their first nanny, and mom is at home with baby so a collaborative partnership is very important here! Great to bring ideas to the table, but also know when to give mom some space and find other ways to be helpful – run errands, grocery store, walk the dog, etc. You will be in charge of all things baby – laundry, sanitizing toys, bottles, keeping the room tidy. The family has a home in the Hamptons, so there will be some travel there during the week. Swimming is a must, as you will be in the pool with the baby. A few bonuses, but not deal breakers – Spanish speaking and knowing how to drive would be great!

This job begins in August, but they have several weekends coming up that their NCS will be off for, so this is a chance to work with them before the start date! Health insurance stipend and competitive salary will be offered.

They travel often to upstate New York, Europe, Hamptons and other amazing domestic based travel spots. This is not a job for a clock watcher. This job also requires heavy weekend work, as they are traveling most weekends. When traveling, you will arrive early and set up the home to the family’s standards. You are in charge of grocery shopping, ensuring all of their favorite products are stocked, keeping everything stocked during the whole trip, light housekeeping if there is a housekeeper not available where they are staying, and anything else that comes up while the family is away!

When the family is not traveling, you will be based out of their Soho apartment, helping the housekeeper and the family office assistant. Your days can look like running errands, restocking kitchen, assisting chef, helping with the family business, helping the housekeeper if she is in a pinch…we are just looking for a team player!!
