You should be very flexible with your schedule. This is a lifestyle role – holidays, weekends, evenings.

-Mostly 1-9pm

-You could be in the Hamptons during Summer from June through Labor Day a week here and a week there!

-Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving an employee car to from Southampton or around NYC as directed

-Must be able to work holidays

-Must be a seasoned professional executive housekeeper, ideally with kitchen experience (comfortable assisting a chef, restocking kitchen, cleaning kitchen)

-Ideal candidate will have worked with a large staff in a large home caring for fine furniture, clothing, linens etc.

-Ideal candidate will be comfortable occasionally cooking for and caring for children, assisting a FT staff of nannies

-Flexibility and positive attitude are perhaps the most important qualities

We are helping a lovely family on the UWS find a Tuesday and Thursday housekeeper for their 3,000 sq ft apt. The hours are 9-4. Mom is a stay at home mom and expecting her second, so being sensitive to this is very important. Being helpful, mellow, easy going, able to take direction and offer suggestions as needed is important! You should also be able to work in a team environment. Dad works from home, so understanding how to clean quietly is also important. Responsibilities
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and organize the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.
• Handle laundry: washing, folding, ironing, and putting away clothes and linens.
• Maintain tidiness in play areas and assist with light organizing projects.
• Occasionally assist with meal prep, simple cooking, or grocery unpacking.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and notify when items need replenishment.
• Help keep track of household inventory and notify when things need replenishment.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward family members, including young children.

We are looking for a great housekeeper to help support a couple in Greenwich Village. Must love dogs – this couple has 3 big dogs. 2 kind and slow moving seniors and 1 (5) year old. You will be expected to take them to the vet via their driver, administer medication, feed and walk them. Daily duties will include laundry, ironing and changing the sheets. If you are able to do simple meal prep like rice, beans and cutting up fresh fruit, that would be amazing! They are open to bringing on someone more junior and training them to their standards.
