We have the sweetest 15 month old that is looking for his forever playmate. This is a Russian speaking household, so you will only communicate in Russian to the child. You should also speak English, as you will need to move around the city with him, take him to classes and schedule playdates. The schedule does require that you work every Saturday, with guaranteed Sunday’s off. You will also have another day off during the week, but this day will be flexible, depending on the family’s schedule. You should know all age-appropriate milestones, and how to work alongside a stay at home mom. You should be able to take direction from mom, but also offer suggestions when appropriate. It would be great if you could travel, but not a deal breaker. The shifts will be anywhere between 8-12 hours per day, 4-5 days week. Hourly rate is DOE, PTO will be given. We are helping a lovely family of 5 find a third nanny to join their Park Slope team. They have a 2 month old, 4 year old and 2 year old. There are 2 nannies that work Monday – Friday, 8-6pm. Your shift would be Monday-Friday 2-8pm and they will find an additional 10-15 hours per week for you either in the mornings or as a date night. There are also opportunities to work on the weekends, if you want to work more than 40 hours.There is no shortage of childcare hours here! The nannies work as a team here – your focus is primarily with the baby, but sometimes you might be asked to look after all 3 if one nanny is cooking and one is doing family laundry. Their 2 nannies have been with them since their children were born, and they are looking for their next forever nanny. Every so often, they might ask you to join them at their weekend home. Mom and dad both work very busy jobs, but love to communicate frequently via text for check in’s. A busy and amazing family in Locust Valley is looking for a Jane or Jack of all Trades. This person should have experience managing a staff of over 4 people and have experience creating, implementing and maintaining systems, calendar management for the Mr, Mrs and two children. You should have no ego and have no issue rolling up your sleeves to change a light bulb, get coffee or help plan a child’s birthday party. Communication is everything to this family- you should understand that you may be emailed or texted after hours and are totally okay with giving a prompt response. Day to day will look like schedule and calendar management, extra curricular sign ups, managing small home projects, managing a small team and any ad hoc duties that might come up.

The schedule is Mon-Fri, 1030am-6pm, with after hours texts and emails as needed. Should be 100% flexible to work on holidays with notice, with days off in exchange. Flexibility for the family is highly valued and rewarded.

Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years full time experience working in private homes, working as a personal assistant and have experience managing a small staff. You should be tech savvy (iMac, iPhone) and also understand smart home technology.

The days will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (non-negotiable on the days) and the hours are 10-6 or 1030-630pm.
