Both parents have extremely intense hybrid work schedules so please be comfortable having them work from their home office 2 days a week. The twins are in school 3 days a week, 9:00-12:00 while the older daughter has a full day 9:00-3:00. Come this fall all three kids will have the same full day schedule. They would love your schedule to be 10:00am-6:30pm, and no day will be the same! They need help with school pick up, driving to after school activities, basic household related things, organizing kids closets (donating old clothe, ordering new clothes, scheduling appoints for the kids, researching summer camps and sports), meal prep, running errands, and other miscellaneous projects. Must have strong communication skills, able to teach children manners and how to be kind and respectful, able to set strong boundaries and have a calming demeanor. Darling family is looking for a high-energy, trustworthy, kindhearted weekend nanny for our two children, ages 4 and 6. Helping with meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping. The role requires engaging fun activities for children on the weekends.

Requirements:
Reliable transportation; driving children to and from appointments and fun activities is a core part of the role.
Available Friday afternoons to evenings, Saturday all day and Sunday morning to afternoon. Typical hours:
Friday, 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (6 hours)
Saturday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (12 hours)
Sunday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (9 hours)

This is a true dream family to work with, you would be so lucky to become their extended family member. They have a precious 4-month-old and almost 4-year-old! Your priority is childcare, driving the children, family’s laundry, meal prep and cooking for the family, errands, grocery shopping, light housekeeping and general organization, and amazing travel with the family. The ideal candidate will have prior live-in experience caring for babies and preschoolers. You must be nurturing, engaging, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable fully integrating into the family dynamic. You must work well in a team environment, strong technology and communication skills are required, as are strong swimming skills and experience in the water with young children. A valid driver’s license is required, and the family will provide access to a vehicle for work-related use. Comfort working in a home with present parents and a large dog (a sweet labrador retriever) is essential. The role also involves weekend travel to the family’s Napa home and accompanying them on vacations. Your schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:30am to 1:30pm and 4:30pm to 7:30pm, overnight duties to be discussed with family. Salary is around $100,000 with full benefits.
