Amazing Brentwood family seeks the BEST after-school Nanny

A truly lovely family in Brentwood is looking for a warm, engaging, and proactive nanny for their three children, ages 9, 7, and 4. Mom is very hands-on, Dad travels regularly for work, and they also have a big, friendly dog.

The family values healthy living, spending time outdoors, and being involved in their community. They are hoping to find someone who shares those values — a Nanny who is naturally optimistic, organized, and genuinely enjoys being with children. They’d love someone who can engage the kids in fun, age-appropriate activities, enjoys cooking healthy meals, and is comfortable using Google Calendar to help keep everyone organized.

A background in child development and a college degree are preferred, but the most important quality is a sincere love of children and an interest in helping them learn and grow.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additional hours are available for someone interested in helping with meal prep or running errands, and flexibility to stay later on occasion is appreciated.

The family also has two mountain homes, and there will be opportunities to travel with them during school breaks so we are looking for flexible candidates.

Compensation is $40–$45 hour, depending on experience. Applicants should have excellent references and a clean background.

Truly Stellar Nanny Opening for Amazing East Side Family

We have a creative, generous, and flexible family in Los Feliz looking for a forever Nanny to join their wonderful household. They have a toddler boy and a daughter in first grade and are hoping to find someone special to step into the role currently held by their beloved Nanny, who is expecting a baby in October.

Their current Nanny will be with the family through the summer, allowing for some overlap and training time with the new Nanny. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00pm–7:00pm. If you are available to come early for kid-related tasks, stay late occasionally for date nights, or help with an occasional weekend need, you will easily reach full-time hours.

This family takes 2–3 shorter trips each year, primarily during school breaks, and they would love to find someone who is excited to travel with them—including spending up to a full month with the family in Nantucket each summer. Fabulous accommodations await!

The family also has a wonderful 60-lb dog, and both parents primarily work from home. They are present and involved, but busy with their professional responsibilities.

Compensation will be based on experience, with a health insurance stipend and paid time off, including six federal holidays, paid sick days, and two weeks of paid vacation.

We are helping a downtown family find the best nanny. They have 2 littles under the age of 3, so being able to keep up with 2 is so important! Mom is a stay at home mom, so please be comfortable with this dynamic. Mom is very involved, so you will be more like a partner vs a full charge nanny. There will be times when mom is gone all day, so she is looking for someone who is able to be flexible between full charge nanny and mommy partner. There will be times when it is important to know how to read a room – if mom wants to be with the little ones, that would be the perfect time for you to do their laundry, sanitize toys, meal prep or tidy up. A positive temperament is really important for this family – mom wants every day to be a great day for the nanny and children, so please have great professional boundaries! There will be a lot of travel with this role, so please be passport ready! They travel to amazing places – you will either have your own room or you will share a room with one of the children. Flexibility is very important here! This is roughly a 50 hour per week job, although you might be asked to stay later a few days per week. Mom is very mindful and will try to have you come in later, if you work late the night before. They are really looking for a nanny who can commit for the next 5 years, so please only apply if you are looking for a very long term role!

Pay and hours breakdown:
50 hours per week at $40 per hour, 10 hours of overtime

Minimum of 4 weeks vacation with the family…2 weeks in summer and 2 weeks from Christmas to New Years..you should be available for both

Mon-Friday, 8am-7pm role

During the summer, Mon-Thursday night in the Hamptons..you will have your own bedroom, shared bathroom with one child..but have your own private powder room

We are helping a lovely family of 3 find the best rota nanny for their adorable 3 year old. We are looking for the best playmate for this little girl! The perfect nanny loves dressing up, singing, playing dolls, dancing, crafts, swimming, reading books and imaginative play. You should be experienced with toddlers and understand age appropriate education, discipline, redirection etc. You will be a full charge nanny during your shift – with the understanding that mom is a stay at home mom and will be in and out. You should understand how to read a room, know professional boundaries and know when to step in and out. If mom wants to be with the little girl, this is the perfect time for you to organize her room, laundry, meal prep etc. This little one loves her routine! She is up at 630 or 7am everyday and asleep by 8pm, with a nap during the day. When she is not in preschool, you will take her out to explore the city – parks, museums, playdates etc. The family travels commercial and you will accompany them – sometimes you will share a room with the little girl and other times you will have your own room. Flexibility is very important here as every trip is different. While living in during your shift, you will have your own bedroom and bathroom with a separate entrance. The family is open to fly in fly out nannies, and the family will cover the flights. They also offer a health stipend, but you will have to submit a receipt each month for the cost. Salary is 110k on the books. US work authorization is required. The shift will be 7 on 7 off or 14 on 14 off..the family is still deciding on this! Mom is a therapist who works from home and will gradually be returning to a fuller client schedule. Dad also works from the property in a private office and is on-site each day. Their older son attends school for six hours a day, so your primary focus will be caring for the baby while working alongside Mom to ensure a smooth, loving routine.

Once their older son finishes school each day, you’ll pick him up and spend the afternoon taking him to activities, the park, or back home for snacks, playtime, and engaging activities. While your primary responsibility will be the baby during school hours, you’ll occasionally be responsible for caring for both children at the same time. Experience with both infants and toddlers is essential.

The ideal candidate is warm, nurturing, organized, and confident managing the changing needs of two young children. Current CPR and First Aid certification, along with a clean driving record, are required.
Mom and Dad enjoy cooking, so meal preparation is not expected. Your regular schedule will remain consistent, with the exception of Wednesdays, when you’ll be asked to stay until 6:00 p.m. Compensation includes one week of paid sick leave, paid vacation, and a guaranteed 35 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours beginning in the fall as Mom’s client schedule continues to grow.
