A prestigious 8-acre estate in Nassau, Bahamas is seeking an experienced property management couple or a strong solo manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the family’s large private residence. The current Domestic Couple will soon be retiring from active management and the owners need reliable, discreet professionals to maintain the property year-round and prepare it for visits, which occur about eight times annually, primarily around holidays. (Christmas Day is off!)

Responsibilities include managing maintenance and technical issues such as plumbing and sump pumps, overseeing two full-time handymen and two housekeepers, property administration to handle interior and administrative tasks, and liaising with the family office that manages accounting, HR, legal, and payroll. The role requires strong engineering skills, vendor management, and the ability to maintain impeccable standards of hospitality and privacy when the family is in residence. Visa sponsorship will be provided, as Bahamian work permits can be complex.

The family values privacy and uses the office as a buffer.

The estate features multiple structures, and clubhouse facilities within an HOA.

Housing offered is a well appointed private 3-bedroom home on the property.

Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 for a solo manager and up to $200,000plus for a couple, with relocation assistance provided. The position should be filled before the holidays.

We are helping a family of 7 find an additional butler to add to their team of 2 butlers. The schedule will change weekly due to the family’s needs, but you will always get 1-2 days off per week. You will help support the principals and butlers with any ad hoc duties, serving the family, cooking, laundry, housekeeping and anything that comes up. You must be able to drive and know how to cook – non negotiable!! You will live in a staff home with 2 other butlers and a housekeeper, with all of your meals covered by the family. They travel several times per year, so please be flexible to travel with them (all expenses will be covered). There is a 6 month trial period, after which an offer will be extended if it is a match on both sides. Salary is 70k for a 5 day work week. If you work 6 days in a week, you are compensated extra for that additional day. After 6 months, a 401k with a match, health insurance and PTO will be offered. We are helping a couple find a junior house manager for their gorgeous, cliffside home in Del Mar. You should be great at receiving a list and executing, not needing a lot of direction, team player (picking up dog poop, laundry when the housekeeper is away, tidying up, putting things in their place, etc). Understanding professional boundaries is very important for this role. There is a 125 pound dog in the home – so must love animals!! Also, it is important to be an excellent communicator and ask for help when needed. This is a M-F job, where you will work from the guest home. Running errands, restocking the kitchen, cleaning out the coffee machine…just anything that comes up! Health insurance and 2 weeks pto is given with the role. Salary is DOE.
