We are helping a family of 7 find an additional butler to add to their team of 2 butlers. The schedule will change weekly due to the family’s needs, but you will always get 1-2 days off per week. You will help support the principals and butlers with any ad hoc duties, serving the family, cooking, laundry, housekeeping and anything that comes up. You must be able to drive and know how to cook – non negotiable!! You will live in a staff home with 2 other butlers and a housekeeper, with all of your meals covered by the family. They travel several times per year, so please be flexible to travel with them (all expenses will be covered). There is a 6 month trial period, after which an offer will be extended if it is a match on both sides. Salary is 70k for a 5 day work week. If you work 6 days in a week, you are compensated extra for that additional day. After 6 months, a 401k with a match, health insurance and PTO will be offered. We are helping a couple find a junior house manager for their gorgeous, cliffside home in Del Mar. You should be great at receiving a list and executing, not needing a lot of direction, team player (picking up dog poop, laundry when the housekeeper is away, tidying up, putting things in their place, etc). Understanding professional boundaries is very important for this role. There is a 125 pound dog in the home – so must love animals!! Also, it is important to be an excellent communicator and ask for help when needed. This is a M-F job, where you will work from the guest home. We are helping a lovely couple find their dream, Yellowstone ranch butler. The perfect candidate loves the great outdoors, doesn’t mind living in a quiet area on a large working ranch, has an understanding of wines and spirits, is an excellent housekeeper, laundress, knows fine service, silver…a true passion for service! The couple lives on the ranch 6 months out of the year, and the other 6 months they are away. During their busy guest season, you might be working 7 days week. After the busy season, there will be a lot of down time! When the couple entertains, you will oversee a temporary housekeeper and chef, but will be responsible for serving and assisting the team. During the slow season, you will be the butler of all trades – housekeeping, assisting the Mrs in the kitchen, laudry services etc. This is a brand new ranch, so there will be a lot of construction this year and getting systems into place. You will have your own 1 bedroom cottage on the property.
