Their chill 10-month-old baby boy is thriving on a smooth routine and eats like a champ. They are on the hunt for a kind, proactive, and flexible full-time nanny who can grow with them over the next 3–5 years—and maybe even transition into a ROTA role! We are helping the coolest family in Atherton find a second nanny to support their lead nanny. The family has 4 children, although your primary responsibility will be with the 1 year old and 7 year old. They have a lead nanny that will travel with them and do all overnights. The lead nanny will make your schedule, so you will receive it one month in advance. You are primarily there as support to her and helping out at the home – bath time, making dinner, overseeing homework and putting the littles to bed. The family would love to find a Spanish speaking nanny, as the children are learning and excited to engage in Spanish. You will be guaranteed 40 hours per week, but you might work less! The hours will be either in the morning as extra support or in the afternoon to early evenings. There needs to be flexibility for weekends, in case the family is traveling and the nanny needs some back up help. We’re so lucky to be helping the loveliest family find their next rotational nanny—and this one is a gem! This is a live-out position in the city (though they’re open to someone amazing – they will help you relocate) the schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off from 7AM to 8PM—basically a full week of fun followed by a full week to recharge!

The kiddos are elementary-aged and in school most of the day, so while being an incredible, engaged nanny, you’ll also be wearing your family assistant cape during school hours. That means:

Keeping the calendar on track and running smoothly

Organizing closets and rotating wardrobes (goodbye too-small pants!)

Doing some light research on cool activities, classes, or summer camps

Helping keep the household happy, prepped, and humming working with the wonderful house manager

They’re looking for someone bright, organized, joyful, and on-it—a true team player who brings good energy, great judgment, and a can-do spirit to every day. Bonus points if you’re the type who loves puzzles, reads bedtime stories with flair, and can plan a week of kid-friendly fun like a pro.
