One of my favorite families to work with is needing to hire a second nanny to join their team, you would be so lucky if they chose you:) They are extremely warm, easygoing family and seeking a kind, reliable, and engaging nanny to join their home and work alongside their long-term full-time nanny (with them 8 years). They have three children — ages 7, 3, and 4 months — and are looking for someone who will primarily focus on the two older kids while their current nanny cares more for the baby, though comfort with all ages is important. They are hoping to find someone the kids genuinely enjoy being around — someone warm, fun, and steady, who can balance playfulness with structure and help support their independence and social-emotional growth.
Schedule is approximately 40 hours week, typically Monday–Friday starting around 12:30 PM through 8:00 PM (with occasional evenings until 9:00 PM for flexibility). Responsibilities include preschool pickup, helping manage after-school routines and activities, supporting homework and play, and assisting with dinner, bath, and bedtime. Light child-related tidying, simple healthy meal prep, and occasional kid-related errands are appreciated (we have a house cleaner 5 days week). They are really a collaborative, respectful household and are looking for someone adaptable, easy to get along with, and comfortable working as part of a team. Travel is required (2–3 trips per year, 5–7 days) plus occasional weekends at our Napa home. Looking for someone experienced with multiple age groups who enjoys a busy, positive household. If you are looking to be a Live In Nanny in one of the most beautiful parts of the Bay Area this family would be perfect for you to join. They have a precious 14 month old daughter who will be starting school in August, so you will have a mix of childcare responsibilities and household duties throughout the day. Think maintaining organization and cleanliness of child room, clothes, toys, and personal items. Including their daughter’s dishes, bottles, and anything related to her meals. Your day would start around 8:00am dropping the child off at school. Some days during the week the child will get out of school early, but usually you will have a 3:00pm pick up routine. Mom and dad will step in when you return home and be with their daughter between 3:30-7:00, eat dinner with her, handle bath time, while you are in charge of putting her to bed. They would love a 6 day work week, with Monday’s being your off day. That said, they want to be understanding if working every weekend is too much and can be flexible with your “off day(s)”. With mom returning to work in June, they are looking for a reliable, experienced housekeeper to help keep both homes running smoothly. They have a wonderful nanny and a weekly cleaner already in place — this role adds dedicated, consistent household support to their team. Day-to-day, you’ll focus on cleaning, deep cleaning, laundry and keeping things organized and well-maintained. They would love someone with a natural eye for order who can also help set up household systems and manuals as they settle into their new SF space. Basic meal prep is a big bonus. Occasionally, they may need light childcare coverage when their nanny is out They are looking for morning availability — roughly 9–1 or 10–2 — three to five days a week. They are flexible on the exact schedule and happy to consider a three-day arrangement for the right person. Their Healdsburg home needs some Saturday coverage, so someone based in Marin who’s comfortable traveling in both directions would be a great fit.
