This amazing two-mom family with one five-year-old daughter is looking for a dynamic, proactive, flexible, and dependable family assistant childcare provider. Your job is approximately 50% household support and 50% Childcare. Day-to-day household management activities vary, but generally follow a weekly cadence. Their daughter is in school full time – so childcare generally involves school pickups, after-school activities and play dates, bath, and dinner preparation, as well as approximately two evenings per week (one weekday, one weekend). They have a vacation home in Sonoma County where we spend most of our summers, and the family assistant will need to work with the parents there, too, and very occasionally travel further afield with them(~once year or less). They are looking for someone who can commit to a regular weekly schedule, including approximately two evenings, with flexibility for the occasional weekend or overnight and the ability to shift the schedule to accommodate planned events, some school break days, and summer. Someone proactive, who can plan, organize, and complete tasks without a ton of guidance and with a positive, can-do attitude. They are fun, easy going and respectful, and value promptness, trustworthiness, and good communication. This is not an easy job, but we’d love someone who is upbeat and ready to partner with us in running our household so we can maximize the time we have together as a family and get the time we need as grown-ups to be our best selves.

Loving, flexible nanny needed for newborn twins in the Mission, this is truly a dream job for an amazing family!!!!
This family needs support during some days and some evenings, so they are looking for someone with a flexible schedule and willingness to work some nights and weekends. Their ideal starting schedule would be 830am-6pm on M W F and 12pm-9pm on T Th. The babies, a boy and a girl, were born in late September. They are happy and mellow three-month-olds. They keep their eating and sleeping schedules aligned for everyone’s sanity, so this nanny needs to help keep their routine and instill good eating sleeping habits in place as they grow. This family has two older kids (5 and 3 years old) and a wonderful nanny who has worked with them since their oldest was a few months old, and who will eventually take on morning care for the babies when their three year old starts school. For now, they need an extra set of hands to care for the babies, and to support them in the evenings. You will be a perfect nanny if you are warm, can instill structure and schedule, have at least three years of experience, including taking care of multiple newborns at once (either twins or in sharecare setting), passionate about early childhood development and again can be super flexible.
